Terms of Service

Effective: August 20, 2026

AIXX is an independently developed and operated game platform. By creating an account or using AIXX, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use it.

1. Your account

You need an account to play online. You must be at least 13. If you're in the EEA and under 16, you need a parent or guardian's permission.

Give accurate information, keep your password to yourself, and tell me if someone else gets into your account. One person, one account. You're responsible for what happens under your account.

2. What AIXX costs

The core is free: single-player content, online matchmaking, and public spectating cost nothing and always will.

You can optionally buy Credits or a Supporter subscription. Nothing you buy affects competitive outcomes — paid items are cosmetic, convenience, or privacy only. A paying player has no gameplay advantage over a free one.

3. Who you're buying from

Purchases are processed by Creem (Armitage Labs OÜ, Estonia), which acts as the merchant of record and is the seller of record for your transaction. Creem handles payment, invoicing, and applicable sales taxes. Creem's Buyer Terms apply to your purchase alongside these terms.

4. Credits

Credits are a consumable digital good used inside AIXX. Read this section carefully, because it's the part people most often misunderstand.

• Credits have no cash value. They are not money, not a stored-value instrument, and not a payment method outside AIXX.
• Credits cannot be withdrawn, cashed out, or exchanged for money.
• Credits cannot be transferred, sold, gifted, or traded between accounts. There is no marketplace.
• Credits are not tied to any third-party game or service and cannot be used anywhere but AIXX.
• Credits are spent inside AIXX on cosmetic items, hosting private rooms, AI-assisted features, and converting to Supporter time.
• Credits earned by playing and Credits bought with money are tracked separately and are never converted into each other. Both can be spent on the same things.
• If your account is closed for a breach of these terms, unspent Credits are forfeited. If you close your account yourself, see the Refund Policy.
• I may change what Credits buy, and at what price, with reasonable notice.

5. Supporter subscriptions

Supporter renews automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from inside your account. Cancelling stops future renewals; your Supporter benefits continue until the end of the period you already paid for. See the Refund Policy.

6. Things you make

Maps, replays, comments, posts, and your profile are yours. You keep ownership.

By publishing something on AIXX, you grant me a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, distribute, and adapt it for the purpose of operating and promoting AIXX. That licence ends when you delete the content, except for copies already distributed to other users and for backups still in rotation.

You promise that what you publish is yours to publish and doesn't infringe anyone's rights.

Reporting. If you believe something on AIXX infringes your rights or breaks these rules, write to support@aixx.app with a description and a link. I will review it and remove content where appropriate. Repeat infringers lose their accounts.

7. AI features

AIXX offers AI-assisted features such as generating a map from a description, or generating a written recap of a match.

• AI output can be wrong, odd, or not what you wanted. There's no guarantee of quality or fitness for any purpose.
• Don't put personal or sensitive information into AI prompts. What you submit is sent to a third-party AI provider.
• Don't use AI features to produce illegal content, content that infringes others' rights, or content that breaks section 8.
• The AI never spends your Credits on its own and never performs irreversible actions on your behalf. Anything that costs Credits or can't be undone requires you to confirm it.
• AI usage is metered and consumes Credits. Quotas apply.

8. What you must not do

• Cheat, use unauthorized clients, modify the game to gain an advantage, or interfere with other players' matches
• Use bots or scripts to farm Credits, rewards, or rankings
• Sell, buy, or trade accounts, or sell Credits or in-game items to anyone
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other people
• Upload illegal content, malware, or content you don't have the rights to
• Attack the service, probe it for vulnerabilities without permission, or try to overload it
• Attempt to extract Credits, AI capacity, or anything else out of AIXX for resale

9. Suspension and termination

I can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. Where it's reasonable to do so, I'll tell you why and give you a chance to respond — except where the breach is serious or ongoing.

You can close your account at any time. Closing it removes your account data as described in the Privacy Policy.

If I discontinue AIXX entirely, I'll give at least 30 days' notice and stop selling Credits immediately upon that notice.

10. No guarantees

AIXX is provided as-is. I do my best to keep it running, but I can't promise it will always be available, bug-free, or that your data will never be lost. Servers go down, code has bugs, and this is one person's project.

To the extent the law allows, my total liability to you for anything connected to AIXX is limited to what you paid me in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that can't legally be limited — including liability for death, personal injury, or fraud.

11. Changes to these terms

I may update these terms. If a change matters, I'll notify you by email or in the app before it takes effect. If you keep using AIXX after that, the new terms apply. If you don't agree, close your account — and see the Refund Policy about unspent Credits.

12. Disputes and your consumer rights

If something goes wrong, email me first. Most things get sorted in a message or two, and it's faster than any formal process.

If you're a consumer, you keep every mandatory consumer protection right available where you live, and you can bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence. Nothing in these terms limits those rights.
